International Scholarships for International Students: Yes (Poland)
Scholarship Description: The programme offers young scientists from the respective countries a broadening experience of their professional horizons in the ecological domain within a research stay from six to twelve months in Germany.Continuing goal is to advance and develop the scholarship holders’ wide-ranged expertise in environmental protection and nature conservation. The research stays focus on significant German-Polish and European topics of environmental protection and nature conservation. The SdS supports the DBU in Poland in spreading the programme and selecting suitable scholarship candidates, and helps to consolidate the network of current and former scholarship holders and to intensify the contacts between Germans and Poles, thus contributing to a socially fertile climate between both countries. The activities of the SdS are supported by the DBU representative for Poland, Wieslawa Dyki. She coordinates the annual competition in Poland and is contact person for queries about the programme and the written application procedure.

-The Scholarship shall be open to candidates who during the tenure of the Scholarship are pursuing studies for the Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering), Bachelor of Science (Computer Science focusing on software engineering), or a Bachelor of Information Science (with a focus on software engineering) at the Palmerston North campus of Massey University; or a Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Electrical and Electronic Engineering), Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (Software Development), Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Computer Science), or Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Computer and Mobile Systems Engineering) at the Auckland University of Technology.

Scholarships Description: Solnet Solutions is a leading company in the IT sector in New Zealand providing a range of solutions and services to major corporate and Government organisations. This Scholarship is offered annually by Solnet to encourage academic performance and interest in the area of professional software development and systems integration. The Scholarship shall consist of $5,000 per annum and in addition will provide paid project work (at Solnet?s premises in Wellington or Auckland) of between six and eight weeks between the penultimate and final years of study. Applications are invited from students who are currently in their penultimate year (ie second to last year) in the field of Engineering. Please see the scholarship guidelines for more details.
