Scholarships for College Level: Master’s, Non Degree, Professional, Artists
Scholarships 2011 Description: This program provides opportunities for university graduates, masters and doctoral degree candidates, and young professionals and artists to study and conduct research in the United States.
Grant Types:
- Master Degree Grants: up to two years for persons wishing to pursue postgraduate degrees in the U.S.
- Non-degree Grants: six to nine months for persons registered for advanced degrees in Egyptian universities who wish to conduct research in the U.S.
- Fine and Applied Arts Grants: six to nine months for artists who wish to conduct field research or attend master classes with professionals in the U.S.

Scholarships for college Level: Doctorates or Masters
Scholarships 2011 Description: Applicants must be Australian citizens. In awarding Monash Scholarships, factors considered include. Outstanding intellect – demonstrated by academic excellence (having completed or are about to complete a university degree or degrees with outstanding results, such as an honours degree (with a classification of 1 or 2A) or equivalent, scholarship, language skills, musical skills and/or publications; Leadership – demonstrated and potential – within or outside of an Applicant’s field of study or professional field; Citizenship – community service; Well-defined research project or study programme to be conducted at a non-Australian University; The case presented by the Applicant of the significance of the applicant’s potential contribution to their field and to the community; Referee reports outlining the applicant’s abilities.
The Foundation supports postgraduate study programmes in any field. The Foundation will support Doctorates or Masters Degrees, but will not support a further undergraduate degree. The Scholarships provide funding of AUD $50,000 per year for a maximum of three years.

Scholarships 2011 Description: Proposals are invited for the following initiatives:Specific short-term research projects, Conferences, Publishing Aid (only awarded for projects already being supported by the Foundation)Research projects application overview (Form for research project application description of the research proposal (max. 8 pages) work plan and time schedule, travel itinerary (if needed) detailed cost calculation (the specific funds being applied for must be precisely defined) curriculum vitae and list of publications of the applicant(s) if appropriate, curriculum vitae, publications and certificate(s) of university degree (or seminar attendance certificates for direct doctorades) of the proposed project coordinator and/or participant After having sent the electronic application form, we kindly ask you to send us a printout of the completed application form along with the other documents by mail.
Conferences
Applications for funding of a conference should contain the following documents:
application overview (= Form for research project application) conference concept list of speakers and subjects cost plan which provides information about the volume of funding the applicants can provide themselves and grants that have been promised by other supporting institutions (normally travel expenses and hotel expenses – no flat-rate daily allowance shall be paid)statement as to whether an identical or a comparable application has been submitted to any other funding body recently or at any time in the past.
After having sent the electronic application form, we kindly ask you to send us a printout of the completed application form along with the other documents by mail.
Publishing Aid :Publishing aid is currently only awarded for projects already being supported by the Foundation.Applications for printing aid are to include a two-page summary of the academic merit and innovativeness of the monograph/collection, at least two cost calculations from independent publishing houses and the manuscript on which the calculations have been made (this can also be provided on CD-ROM).
