Eligibility:
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who meets the academic requirements for enrolment for the PhD degree at Imperial College London. He/she will have a background in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or a related field and an enquiring and rigorous approach to research together with a strong intellect and disciplined work habits.

Scholarships for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: Applications are invited for a research studentship in the field of Tribology, leading to the award of a PhD degree. The post is supported by a bursary and fees (at the UK/EU student rate) provided by Robert BOSCH GmbH Electrical Drives. The studentship is for three years from October 2011.

Eligibility: Recipient must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant of Canada and must have lived in Ontario for at least twelve months in a row
-Be a full-time student in the Biology graduate program
-Student must be conducting research involving wetlands/wild rice

International Scholarships for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: A program of graduate study leading to the M.Sc. degree is offered in the Department of Biology within the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies. The interests of the full-time faculty (12) and adjunct staff members (10) focus on Boreal, Terrestrial and Aquatic Biology. The Department can normally accommodate about 20 students. Facilities are available for field and/or laboratory research in the areas of basic and applied plant/animal ecology and physiology, as well as tree growth and genetics.

Eligibility: The Faculty of Science and Engineering Entry Bursaries shall be open to competition among candidates who:
-are domestic students, ie Australia or New Zealand citizens and holders of a permanent visa
-have a Queensland overall position (OP) of between 1 and to 3
-have achieved a Very High Achievement in a subject or subjects in the disciplines taught by the Faculty, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Geography, Information Technology or Geology
-are enrolled full-time in a Bachelors program or major offered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

International Scholarships for International Students: No

Scholarships Description: The Faculty offers 10 bursaries, each valued at $2,000, to school leavers who enrol as full-time students at James Cook University. The value of each of the ten bursaries shall be $2,000 or such amount as the Selection Committee determines from time to time. Each bursary shall be awarded for the first year of the recipients full-time undergraduate study, and shall be paid in two equal instalments on or about the 30th March and 30th August.
