4. Has bachelor’s degree (applicants for Nagoya University must have bachelor’s degree in laws);
5. Has a good command of both written and spoken English (TOEFL score of 500 or higher is preferred);

Scholarship Description: The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship program (JDS) has been started in Sri Lanka since 2009. Up to now, a total of 15 fellows have been sent to Japan under the program and another 15 fellows will be sent in August 2011. JDS Program is now inviting potential applicants who understand its aims and are interested in 2 year master’s degree program at Japanese accepting universities for the academic year 2012-2013. The program will be instructed in English. The number of dispatches is 15 per year.
