Eligibility:
The applicant’s legal residence must be in Harris County, Texas or one of the contiguous counties surrounding Harris County. These counties are Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Waller, Montgomery, Liberty, and Chambers.
-A photocopy of a Texas Driver’s License or other proof of residence must be included with the application.
-The applicant must have completed at least two academic years of full-time college work or sixty semester hours of credit at the time of applying for this scholarship.
-Students entering or enrolled in graduate studies are also eligible. -applicant must have a college grade point average of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
-The applicant must be currently enrolled as a full time student in an accredited college or university, and be planning to enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester during the year of the awarded scholarship.
Scholarship 2011 Description: Wings Over Houston Airshow Scholarship Program is intended to assist and reward students who have demonstrated academic potential, leadership, and extracurricular involvement in aviation or a related field.
-Students in good academic standing who have completed at least two academic years of full-time college work, or 60 credit hours, and plan to continue their education at any college or university, are eligible for these scholarships.
